Kratom Addiction
When discussing substances that are used everyday, you will think about addiction.
Kratom Addiction is not commonly heard of, there are many users that use kratom for many different reasons and have always been able to ween off of it (causing 0 withdrawals) to eventually nothing.
Kratom Addiction for has never been a problem. I have been using this plant for over a year and have never been close to having a kratom addiction. Perhaps I do not take enough to get to the point to develop a kratom addiction BUT there have been 0 withdrawals from my personal experience and I have had weeks where I took more in than others. With that said however, if you are addicted to something else I have found that kratom is amazing for addiction.
Kratom Addiction Vs High Kratom Dosage
Kratom addiction gets talked about because some people report having major withdrawals (only at high doses will you get withdrawal symptoms), but luckily in the Kratom guide that I provide, there is not enough grams per day or per month to gain a dependant physical tolerance on the leaf.
HOWEVER a mental kratom addiction could incur because of the nice warm hug feeling that kratom does give (that is all depending on your individual self I don’t personally know you so I cannot decide for you if it will be mentally addicting aka habit forming.) although it is not something that will develop overnight hence I will tack kratom addiction up there with habit forming
Depending on your natural tendencies to become mentally dependant upon something is totally in your area and I cannot give any advice on that.
But there are no receptors that multiply in the brain which would than make a mental/ physical dependance, because your brain has now created receptors and are now in need of being fed. Kratom does not do this, refer to what is kratom for more on this.
After 3 months of a kratom lifestyle I decided to test the addiction level, I stopped all intake of kratom for exactly 10 days in which I cut cold turkey (not recommended since everyone is different) and no withdrawals were reported what so ever. I would recommend though that you taper off one gram at a time.
I.e If you dose 12g daily (3g first dose, 4g second dose, 5g last dose) than you would regress it to 9g (2g first dose, 3g second dose, 4g third dose) get the pattern? So reduce one gram daily until you are at 0g first dose to taper off with lowest withdrawal risk.
Kratom Extracts and Addiction
Be very careful of vendors who sell extracts and enhanced leaves. A lot of kratom vendors like to give samples out with their orders (GREAT FEATURE BY THE WAY) but if you are new to kratom and aren’t sure, you may get enhanced leaf sample packs and could be tempted to try it.
The reason why you should stay clear of extracts and enhanced leaves are because it drives up your tolerance and you will need more kratom to feel its effects.
Now don’t get me wrong, extracts can be beneficial but should NEVER be a long term thing as this can induce kratom addiction due to the high potency.
Also with such an increase in dose (enhanced and extract already being of higher concentration[dosage] than kratom) your kratom addiction and withdrawals will increase and these are not shown in a healthy kratom leaf lifestyle.
To make sure you are only buying 100% PURE KRATOM LEAF with no enhancements see Where to buy kratom for my recommend vendors.
In Conclusion
I have personally been able to stop or run out of kratom without feeling any need to get a “fix” and I run out pretty frequently. I do buy in bulk and unfortunately do not check my supply and order enough however this keeps me from becoming dependant.
If you don’t absolutely need to take kratom everyday, don’t, you do not want to get dependant on anything. Kratom does not seem to be addictive for me personally but again everyone is different and if you have an addictive personality treat kratom as if it were, and this is the best way to steer clear of ANY dependance on ANYTHING!

Wow, this is certainly an unusual topic and you should do quite well with it. This is the first time I have heard of Kratom leaf. It seems like back to nature is the best way to go.

Kratom has been around for quite some time, so it is no surprise that being able to use it in many ways has already been discovered. Due to this discovery, it is now available for many other people to use it in many ways. They can purchase the powder, tinctures or other items made with the supplement and then take it to relieve many things that they’re going through. Everyone is different, however, so it is important to consider how it is going to work when you take it.
